Who we are

This website is run by DV Soft, the maker of the hotel software described on it. In this notice “we” means DV Soft.

If you only visit

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Nothing on these pages loads from another company’s server — no fonts, scripts, maps or embedded videos — so no third party learns that you visited. Our web server keeps an ordinary access log for security and to keep the site running.

The one cookie

The site sets a single cookie, dvhms_session. It is strictly necessary: it lets the enquiry forms check that a submission really came from the page you filled in, which is how we stop forged form posts. It holds no personal details, is not used to follow you, and is deleted when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent to it.

If you send an enquiry or ask for a quote

We keep what you type into the form:

• your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
• your property or business name and city;
• for a quote, the number of rooms, properties and restaurant outlets, and how you would like to run it;
• your message.

With it we record the IP address and browser the form was sent from, so we can recognise and block automated spam.

Why we keep it

Only to answer you: to reply, to arrange a demonstration, or to prepare the quote you asked for. We do not sell it, share it for anybody else’s marketing, or add you to a mailing list. Our staff who handle enquiries can see it. It is stored on the server that runs this site, which our hosting provider operates for us.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are in conversation with you and for our business records after that — and never after you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion is complete: the enquiry and everything in it is erased, and only a reference number stays in our audit record to show that the deletion happened. Contact us to ask — mention the email address you used, so we can find it.

Hotel guests

This notice is about this website. If you stayed at a hotel that uses our software, your stay details belong to that hotel and are covered by its own privacy terms — please ask the hotel.
